Reflection
This was my English 2 class with Rachael. I think my strong points in this class was reading comprehension and my working skills. When I start a project I am determined to finish it. My weaknesses in this course was mostly when the student teacher came in and started to teach, she just didn't really know what she was talking about (cause she is a student too) and her assignments were not interesting. My favorite part of this class was reading stories in class but it also was my least favorite part because everyone has their own pace they read at and it throws me off sometimes. I think I liked doing current events all together because I got to learn new things about what's happening around the world, but it's difficult to find one that I will actually be interested in and not yawn. I also feel like I did really good on my final for English, a presentation of current events about natural disasters in our world today. In my next English class I would like to read more books, and do more writting assignments. I would like to improve my writting skill so I can pass my Writting test next year.
Current Event: Bangladesh
A little boy was captured by people and they tied him up and forced him to beg for money but when he refused they bashed his head in with a brick and cut his stomach open and half his genitalia off. His mother found him outside covered in blood and got medical attention immediatley. They have not yet found the people who have done this, so they must hide the boys identity, because they threatened him if he told anyone that they would kill him.
